Our HISTORY

TAS was formed in 1969 to support the development of art and artists in the Truro and surrounding area of Nova Scotia by sponsoring individual and group exhibitions, offering available workshops and providing education and information to the artist community and its patrons. Run entirely by a volunteer membership of over 100 artists and community members from all over Nova Scotia, TAS puts on 6 to 10 exhibitions annually and sends out a regular newsletter to its membership.
